Sheffield employers will pick up tips and advice about the legal implications of employees using social networks such as Facebook and Twitter at a breakfast seminar on 19 June 2013.
The event, hosted by hlw Keeble Hawson, one of the region’s largest law firms, in conjunction with business networking organisation, The Met Club, is at Commercial House, Commercial Street, Sheffield.
Paul Grindley, employment law specialist, and Rebecca Kelly from the firm’s IP and IT team will be offering tips and advice on topics including checking job applicants’ online profiles, whether employers can prevent staff from using social networks while at work and who owns contacts stored on employees’ personal computers and mobile devices.
