Rachel Crookes

Rachel Crookes is the Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution in our Leeds office.

Key work:

Rachel joined the firm from international law firm DLA Piper where she was an associate. She qualified as a solicitor in 2004.

Born in Sheffield Rachel studied for her LLB at the University of Hull and then The College of Law, York.

Rachel has been head of a civil fraud team, handled multi million pound breach of contract disputes – involving companies based in the UK and abroad – as well as theft of confidential information and professional negligence claims – the latter on behalf of a number of mortgage lenders.

She has an impressive record of working with national companies and dealing with a wide range of disputes and litigation.

Background:

Rachel has acted for many companies including steel manufacturers, national retailers and financial organisations.

She has also acted in numerous claims relating to faulty goods (both claimant and defendant) - including acting for a national car dealership.
