Richard Smith

Key Work:

Richard’s work comprises the acquisition, development and subsequent sale or letting of commercial property, advising on buying and selling investment properties for companies and individuals and purchasing or leasing properties for business occupiers.

He also specialises in advising banks and commercial clients on secured lending transactions.

Richard likes to be as friendly and accessible as possible and to develop a relationship that enables him to have an overall commercial picture of each client’s business.

Background:

Having been educated in Derbyshire and at the University of Birmingham Richard has been practising commercial property since qualifying as a solicitor in 1997 and he spent his early years working for a large global firm in London.

He moved back to Yorkshire in 2002 and has been a partner since 2005.

Richard is the current secretary of The Sheffield Club.
