Are You Confident About Your Charity's Commercial Contracts?

Share this page:

We will review any contracts you are not totally confident about in total confidence for only £50.

We are now entering the third month of our ‘Contracts in Confidence’ initiative, a unique service that gives charities all over the UK an opportunity to have any of their commercial contracts reviewed by an experienced lawyer for only £50.

During the first two months the response from charities has been enthusiastic.  A number of charities have asked us to look at a range of contracts including commercial property leases, employment contracts, supplier agreements, intellectual property rights, privacy policies and statutory records and are now considering our suggestions as to how and where they could be improved.

Michele Todd, partner at hlw Keeble Hawson explained “contracts can often be complex and the Contracts in Confidence initiative has been set up to reflect our ongoing commitment to making sure local charities are protected from the potential problems that can arise if contracts aren’t fit for purpose.   It’s been designed to help charities carry out their good work without any unnecessary interruptions.”

If you have a contract you would like us to review for the nominal fee of £50 or would like more information on Contracts in Confidence, please contact Michele Todd via micheletodd@hlwkeeblehawson.co.uk or call 0114 2906207.
