The new service aims to provide members with information and advice on a range of issues, including inheritance tax, powers of attorney and wills and probate.

Nigel Quinton, chief executive of Mansfield Building Society said:

"Forming working relationships with other like-minded organisations that share our objectives enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services to our members"

"All of us plan to write a will at some point in our lives, but it tends to be one of those things we never get around to doing."

"With this new service, we want to highlight the importance of making a will, as it could turn out to be one of the most important documents an individual will ever write."

George Connell, one of the team who will be leading the project at Keeble Hawson added:

"At Keeble Hawson we have always tried to make legal services accessible and flexible. We are keen to help people understand what their options and opportunities are to alleviate their concerns in day to day life.

"Demystifying and explaining services from will writing to lasting power of attorney, to empower people to make choices about the provision they make, is our aim."

The association with Keeble Hawson will form part of a range of working relationships the Society has with companies in the areas of insurance, financial planning and mortgage protection.
